We live in Carlinville, IL USA a small rural community. I teach Second Grade. Martin is works at a Christian Camp. Andrew is in the Air Force.
Our youngest daughter, Anna, shares our love for the papillon and trains Bingham
for agility. She is a senior in college and making plans for next year.
Our oldest daugher,
Sarah, and Son-in-Law, Kory,
have blessed us with Bella and Shepard.
Bella loves papillon kisses.
I first started my love for dogs in the early 1970's. I bought my first dog, an Irish setter named Honey. I competed in Junior Showmanship in South Dakota, Colorado, North Dakota, and Wyoming. My family and I were members of the Rapid City Kennel Club. In 1973 I was awarded with the Junior Showmanship Award from Rapid City Kennel Club. Life took a turn for us when my father got transferred to San Juan Puerto Rico. We still showed dogs in San Juan at the Puerto Rico Kennel Club April shows. I left for college and took time to raise a family. My family still had a love for dogs. But my parents ended up spending years overseas working and traveling.
Five years ago we got our first Papillion. Out family fell in love with papillons these wonderful little dogs. We enjoy agility and conformation.
